Charme au cœur des vignes

😊: Lovely house, cool and had air con. Well kitted out and owners left a welcome bottle of wine. Also provided coffee and tea.. 😢: Patio felt neglected, bar-b-q was dirty, the pool was shared with the owners family. The pictures depicting the property are misleading..

😊: Beautiful location truly in the heart of the vines. The property was comfortable clean spacious and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful. There is an amazing restaurant nearby, unfortunately it doesn’t cater for vegetarians/ pescatarian. If you are a meat eater you will be in heaven! Very good location for exploring the cathar region. So many beautiful places to visit.. 😢: The location is beautiful but the garden was smaller than expected and the hedges means there is no view of the vines unlike in the photo. The pool was cold so we didn’t use it. We would prefer to be nearer to a boulangerie..

😊: We had a wonderful holiday in this superb house. Jeremy and Caroline, the hosts, met us when we arrived to give us the keys and show us around, also giving us a bottle of their Blanquette de Limoux which was very welcome (and delicious!) We ate all our meals sitting in the shaded area outside the house which is very private and we had a couple of BBQs out there too. The house was well equipped and comfortable and the pool was a delight. Jeremy and Caroline are great hosts and discreet which we really liked and Pumba the dog was very sweet and well behaved. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to explore Carcassonne and some of the Canal du Midi area but also have some down time swimming (and eating!) We'd definitely return.. 😢: There was no downside - it was all good!.

😊: Good facilities, comfortable beds and great swimming pool.. 😢: Nothing.
