Charme, Authenticité et Confort entre le Havre et Etretat. Proche Honfleur

Excellent and charming holiday home in beautiful Normandy. Very comfortable, well kept and very clean house. Very well equipped kitchen, all mod cons, lovely bed and the living room/kitchen is very efficiently and tastefully decorated and arranged. Marylin is the perfect host, very friendly, and she and her husband gave us some useful information and tips for trips. Easy to communicate with, be it in French, English or German. Octeville Central is nearby (2 km) for fresh croissants, a pizza and a small but excellent restaurant. From Octeville you can make some interesting trips to Le Havre, Honfleur and various beaches along the cost. Perfect for cycling trips. All in all: we'd highly recommend this little gem!

Bei der Anreise wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, es wurde uns das Haus und die beiden (!!!) Terrassen gezeigt, ebenso die Unterstellmöglichkeiten für unsere Fahrräder. Ein Idyll nicht weit entfernt von der Hafenstadt Le Havre, die uns ebenfalls positiv überrascht hat. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und kurzweilige Woche in Octeville-sur-Mer! Vielen lieben Dank. Le logement est très agréable, très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons apprécié d’être au calme et non loin de toutes commodités. L’accueil de notre hôte est parfait et les petites attentions gourmandes à notre arrivée étaient fort sympathiques. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Persönlicher Kontakt zu den Vermieter, geschmackvolle Ausstattung, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein kl. Ort in der Nähe mit 2 Bäckereien, Fleischerei, Obst- Gemüseladen, kl. Tante Emmaladen, Apotheke, Kirche,1 mal die Wo. So. ein kl.Markt, der durch den Ort führt

L'Air du Large is a lovely property, decorated in seaside style, with lots of little extras to make the stay comfortable. Unfortunately didn't get to use the outside furniture much because of the weather! The gite is in a lovely area, close to Le Havre, but tucked away in a quiet lane so very peaceful. An ideal base to visit Etretat, for cliff walks and the most unusual garden , Fecamp , Montivillier for the Abbey. Not far to drive to Honfleur over the Pont de Normandie. We also visited Rouen, just under an hour by train from Le Havre which is full of interesting streets, buildings and of course the Cathedral. Highly recommended. The owners are very welcoming and left us a few extra treats. So despite the grey days we had an enjoyable holiday.
