Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay.

Hervorragende Lage, um zu Schloessern und Gaerten der Loire und Spazierwegen an den kleinen Fluessen zu gelangen. Fuer Radfahrer sehr gut, ansonsten Auto erforderlich. Wir haben es vom 12. bis 19. Juni 2023 sehr genossen!

This place is an awesome base for the Loire Valley. It has tons of charm and Marie Claire is a great host!

I have rarely been so charmed by a vacation rental. Marie-Claire's house dates to 1614, stone walls, rustic ceiling beams, spacious rooms, and a peaceful and large outdoor space complete with climbing roses. Marie-Claire was a gracious and attentive host. As a base for visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley and the many beautifu towns in the area, we couldn't have enjoyed any accommodation more. Being able to end each day with dining and sipping wine in the peaceful, picturesque garden was such a bonus. Lots of room for all of us.

Our 3-day vacation was perfect, the house is beautiful (made of stone >300 year ago and very authentic), has a privat yard and graden with a playground for children, barbeque pot was provided. Marie-Claire is very kind and pleasant host, she meet us at the arrival and explained and showed us everything on the property. The house is very spaceful, three rooms upstrairs and a kitchedn a separate living room at the ground floor. Bath and toilet are very clean and modern. Kitchen has everything we needed. The barn in the yard has a ping-pong table with lights and 3 bikes to explore the vicinities. We enjoy our stay very close to nature in this house. The old town of Blois is 10 min drive away, and the famouse Loire castles are also very close (10-30 min drive in different directions). Thank you Marie-Claire. We will come back if will be in France in future years!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a relaxing, and much needed, break after several days in the hustle and bustle of Paris. The home is truly charming and quite cozy. We all enjoyed bike rides, ping-pong and excursions to nearby chateaux. Considerations-The wi-fi works best on the main room and doesn't have a strong signal elsewhere in the home. This isn't really surprising since the house is stone, but something to keep in mind. Also, the beds were quite firm. All-in-all, this was a truly fabulous place to stay and our favorite thus far. Thank you!
