Charme Parisien : Sauna & Jardin

😢: In a very strange street and the room is not so clean. It's very diffcult to find the room without guidance video in the night time..

😊: The size and the atmosphere, sitting on the couch by the window with sun coming in was lovely. Entry was easier than some of the other reviews make out, just need to read instructions carefully and logically. Hallway lights work, you just need to look for the switch. It’s really a charming apartment. 😢: Noise from other residents, had a little trouble with lock but communication was excellent.

😊: The property is lovely, spacious and clean, great for families or groups and good value for money. We really loved the idea of the Sauna but didn't use it in the end. we also requested a later check out the night before and they were happy to offer 1pm extension from 11, which was great as I was working (DJ-ing) Sat night til 7am so a 11am check-out on sun would have been super tough. They were quick to respond to messaged on the booking.com app, which was helpful when we had issues.. 😢: Was super difficult to get into the property, there were a bunch of complicated instructions. The door code for the outside main building door was complicated and didn't actually work, someone let us in on arrival, but then the buzzer to enter simply didn't open the door as instructed, they had to give us a code for a lockbox where a key was hidden with a fob to enter the building in the end. The front door to the property is also a code, when we arrived we tried the code tonnes of times, but wouldn't work, we called but the phone menu was in french so was hard to understand, eventually i messaged and they replied, with a different code, so the code they had given us was wrong. Was just very stressful after a long day of travel. Once we were in all was fine. But I would say the area isn't the best, there's nothing around locally, so if you're looking for a central apartment this isn't a great location. It worked well for us, as I was visiting to DJ and the club I was playing was only a few streets away, but if you're looking to do tourist stuff in Paris, it's not the best spot to stay..
