Charming and cozy cottage by the Charente river

Peaceful and beautiful property on...<br>#128578; The property was located on the banks of the Charente in a very beautiful and peaceful village. There was no shortage of home comforts in the property and everything was perfectly prepared - even a goody basket awaiting our arrival :) High speed internet, Wi-fi and comfy settees were there and lovely bathrooms.<br>#128577; The only TV was on the top floor which meant there was a long walk to the kitchen and bathrooms - a very minor point as there was two large settees and blankets in the room.

10/10 perfect stay in a...<br>#128578; It was absolutely stunning. The town that it is I. Is just beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house itself was so homely and spacious and the decor was lovely. The owners were extremely helpful and left us a lovely little gift basket when we arrived. They were fantastic. We would 100% come back and recommend to others.

My family and I had a great stay, and Verteuil is a lovely place with good restaurants and local services and the chateau overlooking the town is lovely.
