Charming apartment near La Défense, Paris - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: Communication with the hosts was very easy. We were given the keys personally and received instructions and explanations. The appartment itself is very cosy, well equipped, very clean. Its size is perfect for a couple. There are food stores and pizza and doner stores 5 min away. The tram stop to La defense (which is a central transportation hub) is 10 min walk and you reach La defense in 15 min by tram. The relation quality-price for the Charming appartment is very reasonable. The appartment is in the basement but is very well lit. Besides, when you go out at 8.00 in the morning and get back at 20.00 in the evening it does not matter. It has 7-8 stairs which makes it not suitable for disabled people but luckily we did not have any problems. Next time in Paris we will stay there again!. 😢: I missed very few things that might improve the stay in the appartment - 2 wine glasses, a bigger knife (the one there was kind of small), also the pillows were too soft for our taste but that is strictly individual (I put underneath some sofa pillows). In general our stay in the Charming appartment was wonderful! Thank you, Patrick and Ilan!.

😊: The apartment visually corresponds to the description and is very well equipped. As it has been offered for only a year now, everything is still in very good condition. The bed is comfortable, and the Internet access is excellent.. 😢: We knew from the photographs that the apartment is of semi-basement type, so that didn't surprise us. What I didn't know (but I should have assumed) is that the ceiling is maybe a little bit more than 2.0 meters high. It might be challenging if you are taller than average, as I am. The walk-in shower is nice, and it works excellently, but there is one small problem - the slope is not adequate (maybe it couldn't have been done any other way, maybe it's just a building error, or maybe the drain system needs more frequent cleaning), so after a very short time the used water starts to spill out of the shower cabin. There is a manual tool to pull the water back, and it does the job almost good enough, but it's necessary to be on alert all the time during the shower. But to be completely honest, the price of the apartment was much lower than the rest of available properties in Bezons, so I think that the mentioned drawbacks are acceptable..
