Exceptionnel<br>#128578; Gîte exceptionnel : emplacement à 20 min d Amboise idéal pour découvrir la région, accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, équipements complets. Coup de cœur pour le petit jardin privatif accolé au gîte, qui complète à merveille les espaces extérieurs communs (piscine, jeux, brassero, balançoires). Merveilleux séjour dans une très...<br>#128578; Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille Nous avions loué les trois gîtes. Philippe et Sandrine sont des hôtes charmants, ils ont fait le maximum pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible

Außergewöhnlich<br>#128578; Wir haben unsere Herbstferien in der Ferienwohung von Sandrine und Phil verbracht. Und um es kurz auszudrücken, es war toll! Wir hatten halbwegs gutes Wetter aber selbst bei Temperaturen um die 20°C durften wir den beheiten Pool benutzen. Außerdem haben unsere Kinder ihre Tischtennisfertigkeiten trainieren können. Der Garten ist weitläufig und neben den schon geschriebenen Dingen, findet sich dort eine Möglichkeit zum Federball sowie Boule spielen und ein paar Hängematten. Alles ist dabei so ...

Das Ambient und herzliche Gastfreundschaft...<br>#128578; Die Eigentümer haben auf unseren Wunsch den Pool trotz regulärem Ende der saison opffen gehalten. Gratis konnten wir uns mit Tomaten und Eiern sowie Fahrrädern versorgen.

Exceptionnel<br>#128578; Nous avons réellement beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, notamment du fait de la gentillesse de Philippe et Sandrine, leur disponibilité, les petites attentions et leur extrême gentillesse avec notre fille, le confort du gîte tout équipé, le grand espace disponible pour se détendre, la mise à disposition du matériel pour le barbecue, les hamacs, la pétanque / molky, le trampoline, la piscine, les balançoires ! Voortreffelijk<br>#128578; Philippe en Sandrine zijn geweldige gastheren. Gittes zijn van alle comfort voorzien, net en smaakvol ingericht. De tuin is een pareltje: groot zwembad met allerlei speeltuig voor de kinderen (de kinderen hadden liefst de hele week in die tuin gebleven😀), Petanqueveld, badmintonveld, kippen met verse eieren, een pruimenboom waar je mocht plukken, terras, BBQ met alle toebehoren. Echt allemaal heel verzorgd. Philippe spreekt ook zeer goed Engels.<br>#128577; Helemaal niets.

The cottage itself is pretty, with several original features. It is in a good location as long as you have a car. However the interior decor and furnishings are outdated, especially the bathrooms. The double bed collapsed onto the floor the minute my daughter sat on it. Luckily no one got hurt but we had to heave a heavy double mattress onto the floor my mother older daughter had to sleep on the floor for the first two nights. (I was heavily pregnant so couldn't offer up my bed). After that, there were way too many other niggles, such as a lack of basic amenities eg no body wash in the bathrooms, no spare toilet roll, mismatched towels which were as rough as sandpaper; central heating downstairs did not work. No mirrors in bedrooms. In the kitchen: there was no sponge/cloth to wipe the cupboard surface with, no washing tablets for the washing machine the oven didn't work (so we couldn't use either), no plates, no garbage bags, no kitchen roll, no microwave steamer. There were also out of date (expired in 2013) condiment sauces in the cupboard, which suggested a general lack of hygiene. The owners at first tried to remedy the situation (eg fixed the bed and got us plates toilet roll) but there were just too many things to constantly have to ask them for. My sister's family, who was staying in the next cottage, had similar problems with blocked toilets, malfunctioning washing machines, central heating etc. We finally had a chat with the owners saying that we were rather disappointed with the state of the cottage and would like a partial refund. To add insult to injury, in response, first they said that, as we were the first guests of the season, we should expect that some things would go wrong. They were very hostile after that. The next morning, they accused us of actually breaking the bed as well as a garden chair (which was one of two that were already broken when we arrived)! They also said they'd charge us for the cost of cleaning the cottage. A small sign inside one of the kitchen cupboards states that guests can either clean the cottage themselves or pay euro20 to get a cleaner - we cleaned it ourselves before departure so there was nothing to charge for. Also note that the the heated garden pool, which is listed under the facilities of the "Les Hortensias" tab on the website, can only be used from end of May. It says so on a different page/tab of the website, but it does not mention this fact under the cottage description.
