Charming cottage with all comfort in the heart of the Saintonge Dorée. Heated swimming pool

The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. Was definitely somewhere i could return too. The hosts were lovely as well and sorted any small problems we had quickly. All in all would definitely recommend for a family holiday

We had a great time during our holiday here. Very nice pool and pool area. Charming cabin that feels private. The village itself is pretty boring and doesnt offer anything, but if you're looking for a relaxing time hanging out by the pool, it's perfect. Sophie is kind and helpfull if you need anything.

Beautiful property, very well presented in a very quiet location. Everything was impeccable for our stay which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time.

Secluded hamlet, very peaceful, with the occasional barking dog and crowing cockerel. Very well equipped accommodation, with everything you need , very clean and stunning. The pool and surrounding areas are amazing. It was a shame the weather let us down, and that any and all shops/ bars/ restaurants are all a drive away. The nearest place being Aulnay. It was a little disappointing that the bikes weren't available for our use during the first week. However, when we got the bikes the area lends itself to cycling, with some lovely tracks to follow. We must thank Sophie for going above and beyond to help with our arrival. The welcome package of homemade jam and wine was a nice touch. Excellent hosts and a lovely property.

We spent a very relaxing 2 weeks here. Lovely lodge, equipped with everything you could possibly need to a very high standard. The gardens and pool area are fantastic, the pool being very welcome as temperatures soared towards 40° ! Sophie, Marc and their son are very good hosts and made us feel more than welcome. Marc's homemade marmalde is a joy to taste, along with his rum punch. Nearby town of Aulnay has a supermarket, boulangerie etc... as well as a twice weekly market for all your fresh goods. Would highly recommend.
