Charming cottage with pool, in a former farm Drôme.

Genevièves Guesthouse is very nice, very well equipped and quiet with a beautiful Garden, you almost don´t notice the street. The Kids loved the Pool. Geneviève is there if you need her but gives you the privacy you are looking for. Next to the property is a pharmacy and a supermarket which is very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the gîte du Mas des Clots. The place is very clean, has everything you need to cook and is very private. The property manager is very friendly.

Agréable séjour dans une maison au calme, propre et bien décorée dans l'esprit provençal. La propriétaire est très prévenante et discrète. La piscine et les extérieurs sont magnifiques. Je recommande cette location.

We had a great stay in Upie… really great location to explore the region and the Gites has a brilliant pool and great facilities for a comfortable stay. Has everything you need to unwind relax and enjoy the Drome

We spent a very hot week with friends at Le Mas les Clots. It is a delightful location off the beaten track and close to the Vecors National Park with its spectacular scenery. The Gite was lovingly restored by Genevieve and her family some years ago. It is tastefully furnished and very well equipped - down to the last detail! The mature garden provides shade and is accessible to the Gite. there are lots of little sitting areas within the garden. The real gem is the swimming pool... We cycled through the pretty villages in the early morning, swam in the pool several times a day and visited the restaurants in the neighbouring villages. We would recommend L'Auberge D'Allex in the village of Allex as one of the best. Not only is the supermarket next door useful but we found an excellent farm shop on the back road to Crest - about 7 km away. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.

We spent a lovely week in this beautifully restored house - the photo book showing the rebuilding of both the main house and the gite was a really interesting bonus! The property is really well equipped and comfortable with a beautiful garden that offers a lot of privacy and helpful owners who are discrete but friendly. It's a very peaceful location but just a few steps to the bakery and the little local supermarket which means you could just sit and enjoy the garden (and the pool if that's your thing) if you didn't feel like going far. It's a short drive to decent local restaurants (we enjoyed La Pangee at La Baume Cornillane) - be sure to check out all the business cards in the little dish near the TV for pointers to restaurants, fruit and vegetables direct from the producers and other local businesses. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone looking for somewhere that offers a bit of peace and quiet.
