Charming family home in the heart of the Village

Une belle et grande maison!

On à passé des très belles vacances avec nos trois enfants et le grand-père. Très belle maison, avec beaucoup de place et de possibilités.

Agréables vacances dans une maison vaste , accueillante où l'on se sent chez soi. Sans vis à vis , avec des extérieurs ombragés , c'est une villa adaptée à la famille.

Großzügiges Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet, gute Internetanbindung, wenn auch keine wirkliche Flatrate (nur nachteilig, wenn man viel - mehr als 50 GB - Datenvolumen benötigt). Die Ausstattung ist gut, alle wichtigen Geräte (in diesem Sommer waren Ventilatoren sehr wichtig) sind vorhanden, zum Teil allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Dunstabzugshaube in der Küche funktionierte nicht). Der TV-Empfang beschränkt sich auf französische Sender, da DVB-T. Insgesamt haben wir (4 Erwachsene und 2 kleine Kinder) uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und einen schönen Urlaub verbracht. Nissan ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Ort. Alle wichtigen Ausflugsziele sind mit dem Auto problemlos zu erreichen. Man kann auf dem Grundstück mit 2 Autos parken, eine Steckdose zum Aufladen von Elektroautos (230V - keine Ladestation!) befindet sich in ausreichender Nähe zum Parkplatz. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war sehr nett und auf Englisch per E-Mail problemlos möglich. Besonders positiv fiel auf, dass die Endreinigung im Preis inbegriffen war. Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren im Haus vorhanden, Kissen ebenfalls in ausreichender Zahl. Die Doppelbetten waren auch für Nicht-Franzosen ausreichend breit und bequem. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Nous avons passé deux très bonnes semaines de vacances dans cette très grande maison où chacun s est senti chez soi (2adultes et 3 ados). Elle est un bon point de départ pour rayonner vers de nombreux points d intérêt (Carcassonne, Narbonne, Béziers, les plages des cabanes de Fleury, inoubliable abbaye de Fontfroide et même randonnée jusqu'à l abbaye de saint martin de canigou...). Barbecue à disposition et table de Ping pong pour de super parties. Et surtout accès wifi sans problème pour nos grands! Seul bémol nous n avons pas profité du jardin car il faisait trop chaud (à noter que la maison reste fraiche malgré la chaleur extérieure). La maison est dans le village et donc boulangerie, presse, poste, petit commerce et marché accessibles à pied. Pour les grosses courses il y a un supermarché Casino à 10 minutes en voiture. Enfin la propriétaire a été très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions pour préparer notre sejour. Encore merci.

We are a family of six (6) and this house was just what we needed with three separate bedrooms (for parents, two teenagers) and one shared space for the kids under 10. There were enough screens (and security bars) on the windows to feel comfortable opening them without getting bombarded by bugs or unwanted guests during the day and night. The town was lively, especially on Bastille Day and, and was interesting with great people and services. Grocery was nearby, along with various specialty shops and a few good restaurants, some of which were open all day and you could eat without reservations. Beaches were within 30 minutes, old windmills (one in working condition) were within 10 minutes, Beziers was within 25 minutes and Carcassonne within an hour. Things that could be improved include: that the beds were a bit hard - could be addressed with a pillow-top to soften; more information on local resources for visitors (best closest grocery, pastry shops, meat shops, etc.) in the booklet they had on site. Overall it was a great experience.
