Charming family house 5 km north of AIx

The villa was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. It was in an ideal location, less than 10 mins drive from Aix. The host was extremely helpful both in the lead up to and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful house, a real home from home - very spacious, airy, and well equipped, and we had such a warm welcome from Isabelle with a refreshing lemon drink to revive us and some local rosé chilling for later.There are lots of spaces for everyone to find a comfortable spot to relax, a beautiful garden, fussball, table tennis and a fantastic pool which is an excellent size, clean and peaceful and a lovely place to spend loads of time.There is lots of kitchen equipment - pots and pans, baking trays, loads of serving dishes, hundreds of plates and glasses, utensils, food containers, a large fridge and freezer, a great (uncomplicated and reliable) hob and oven, double sink, microwave and a washing machine in the utility room. As someone else mentioned the shower upstairs is a handheld one attached to the tap, so everyone used the lovely ensuite shower downstairs.There's loads to do nearby if you want to get out and about - Aix en Provence is very beautiful, and we enjoyed kayaking along the gorge at Saint Croix, visiting the Post du Gard, Avignon and doing some sightseeing.You will need a car as the house is in a rural location but there are several shops a short drive away, including a big Intermarché in Venelles. Lovely bread, meat and veg available at the Bastide shopping centre on the road towards Aix, and some wonderful shops in Puyricard as well.Thank you Isabelle for a wonderful stay, we will be back (if you'll have us)!

Lovely well-maintained home that may be the best-equipped VRBO that we have ever stayed in (so much so that I would *guess* the owners live here regularly) -- only exception was that the house did not provide shower soap or shampoo -- so we had to run to the grocery store to get those. Our family of five had plenty of room indoors and outdoors, everything worked well and was clean, and we enjoyed the house amenities, including the pool. Host and owner were responsive, though be aware that the host (who checked us in) does not speak English (the translation feature on our phone was very helpful). The Owner does speak English though we didn't have much reason to communicate with her because everything was great. It is about 8-10 minutes outside downtown Aix and so having a car is highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in Aix. We all loved the pool area which has shade in the form of umbrellas etc, lovely sunbeds and things for the children to enjoy playing with in the pool. The boys had fun with the table tennis and table football too. Both Isabelle’s were excellent in their communication (although I needed my French for check in). There was a thoughtful gift of Rose wine and Calisson on arrival too. We had some lovely trips into Aix and other local towns/villages. The house was well equipped - although be aware it’s a flat plate not a BBQ incase that is important to you. Given the dry heat I’m not too suprised. Isobelle’s taste is delightful - bed linen, pictures, crockery all so pretty and fun. We all ended up using the downstairs ‘stand up’ shower which was en-suite to one of the bedrooms - not a problem for us but worth mentioning if you aren’t all family in your group. The upstairs shower is telephone style over a bath which is fine for some but I couldn’t risk the children creating a flood! All in all a lovely week and would recommend for family groups like ours.

everything was easy. The owner is very responsive. their local contact is also very efficient. The house itself is GREAT. It comes with a lot of games for kids (board games - ping pong table - fussball game) - The pool area is very nice as you can have a drink while the kids take a swim. The location of the house is awesome: while being 10 min outside of Aix city center, you are 3 min away from mini shop centers with great groceries - bakeries - fish store - butcher store. All your culinary needs are covered. Else if you want to visit, there is SO much to see in a 1 hour radius from the house. Totally recommend it. will likely go back when I go visit Aix en Provence again

Descriptif conforme à la réalité. Très belle maison, bien équipée et bien agencée. Extérieurs et piscine sécurisés, idéal avec des enfants de bas âges. Propriétaires et intermédiaires très sympathiques. Nous avons passé d’agréables vacances et nous n’hésiterons pas à renouveler l’expérience !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacance à Aix en Provence dans cette charmante villa. A notre arrivé nous avons reçu un très bon accueil. Concernant la villa, elle est très spacieuse, très propre, très bien équipée et très bien sécurisée. La salle de jeux a beaucoup plu aux enfants. A proximité il y a pas mal de commerces et la région est très belle. Merci pour ces vacances :)
