Charming farmhouse with pool in the heart of Perigord near Dordogne river

We stayed in the lovely, quiet village of Pinsac for a week this August (2025).The property was immaculate and spacious.The outdoor space was perfect with a great pool and plenty of outdoor games for the more active amongst us.All in all a lovely property in a lovely location.

Excellent property - actual rooms and pool larger than they look in the photos. All the communal rooms are very spacious. Pinsac is very quiet but has a very nice local shop/bar/restaurant. Kids loved the inflatables and table tennis table. Ideal for two families. Local river has beach (10mins drive) and is excellent for the whole family.

This was the perfect property for two families of four to share. We have been holidaying in the Dordogne and the Lot for several years now and this is as good as any of the properties we have stayed in. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone with powerful showers, really comfortable beds, a very large outdoor area around the pool with good games facilities and a pool big enough for us all. The location is great with the river so close and some of the most beautiful towns and villages in the area nearby. The proximity to the A20 also makes the long journey home far more palatable. We would happily come again.

I came with my family for a relaxing week and it was absolutely perfect. Anne was wonderful and so helpful with all my many questions in the run up and during our holiday. The property was PERFECT!

Having stayed in this property two years ago, a group of seven friends and I were eager to return this summer. Everything was just as lovely as last time. The house is clean, tasteful and spacious, with useful tips for the local area provided in both French and English. The pool and outside area is idyllic, including the perfect set-up for lots of long dinners by candlelight. The stars also look incredible once the sun has set. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for another lovely holiday!

Lovely house, equipped with everything one could need.. Within beautiful village and three minutes walk from excellent baker/general store, but so quiet you would think yourself in the middle of the countryside. We particularly enjoyed the huge shady terrace, great river swims, Romanesque churches, prehistoric cave paintings and excellent restaurants.
