The fact that this is our second stay here says it all really. The gite is beautifully decorated, has everything we need and we always feel so welcome

We had a splendid holiday in this beautiful decorated cottage. Everything was clean, bed was good and kitchen more than complete. The terras was large with plenty of different chairs to sit in. We especially appreciated the privacy we got from the owner. He was there if we needed anything but left us alone if we didn't need anything. It was one of the best accommodation we stayed in in the last 20 years! Very very good and I can't think of any negative things!

Phillipe and Veronique (& their Son) are lovely hosts , they have the balance of helpfulness and discretion perfectly right. The gite is immaculate, well presented and has all the amenities you could possibly want. The pool is beautiful and just as well kept as the entire property. The village is typically French with a lovely selection of restaurants, a couple of tabac bars , bakeries and grocery shops. We couldn't ask for more. We look forward to visiting again . Phillipe and Veronique are really lovely hosts and made us very welcome. The Gite and the private patio are really stunning as is the pool which is shared by the owners (but they never used it when we were there). The Gite is well equipped but for English visitors the TV is very limited - only BBC World News and SKY TV News. We expected a BBQ but that is no longer available as the area it was in is being developed into another one bedroomed Gite. The Gite is in fabulous grounds which have electronic gates and so convenient for visiting many beautiful villages and towns and only an hour away from the coast. We were disappointed that Phillipe hadn't told us before we went that the builders would be working on the new Site. The noise of drilling , cutting flooring etc didn't make for relaxation by the pool or on the patio, therefore we stayed out for most of the day as they didn't finish till 17.00. The weekends were very peaceful as no builders so we could enjoy the pool and it's surroundings. We didn't expect to be on holiday on a site with building works which were intrusive. We think the site price should have been reduced or a partial refund due to the problem for this year. Veronique and Phillipe were very helpful and gave us some excellent suggestions of beautiful places to visit. Would have given a 5 star rating if there had been no building work on going.
