Charming house completely renovated with swimming pool in the heart of the village for 4 people

We had a lovely stay in Capestang. The property and pool are both charming and nicer than the photos. The neighbourhood is safe, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Nathalie and her daughter Pia were very welcoming and shared very clear communication for check in and check out. Some downsides were the uncomfortable furniture choices in the living area - the sofa is really not relaxing - and the lack of basic necessities such as toilet roll, salt or dishwasher tablets. Toilet roll is actually listed as included on the property description so it's not ok to expect guests to buy this. Overall, a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others looking to explore the Languedoc.

This is a generally well equipped and pleasant place to stay in a good location for the exploration of the area. The house furnishing is modern and comfortable, while the pool and garden, which are shared with the owner and family, are pleasant and very welcome amenities. The aircon is limited to a single unit in the main bedroom, which is effective but leaves the rest of the property feeling uncomfortably warm in hot summer conditions. Contrary to the website description, there is no on-site or dedicated car parking.A week before our arrival the hostess informed us that she required a Euro 350 cash security deposit on arrival, which is not mentioned on the Vrbo website. Vrbo customer support advised us that this is a private requirement beyond their control, and they can offer no guarantee as to the security and performance of this arrangement.

The pictures dont do the lovely location justice, such a fantastic house, host and location. Highly recommend Brewery within walking distance, fabulous restaurants within walking distance.

We had a great stay with this nice family. Capestang is a small village and it is a good starting point for trips in the area. The house and pool are very nice and we enjoyed it very much. Perhaps a small point of interest is a comfortable couch inside or lounge set outside. Design furniture is nice but not always that comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this well equipped and spacious property. Our host (and family) were very welcoming and offered some good suggestions for us to visit. Beziers was an excellent town to see, just 20/30 minutes away by car (or bus) and there were some great places to eat in Capestang itself. We particularly enjoyed Brasserie Oppidum, just a few minutes stroll from the property. The week flew by and we’d wished we had booked for longer.

We have spent a very relaxing holiday in Nathalie and Emanuel’s lovely Gite. The location was ideal with access to restaurants and bars nearby. We had access to the owners garden which contained a beautiful swimming pool and was a pleasant place to relax after a visit to the beach. Nathalie was always available if needed but she respected the privacy of the guests. The nearest beach (Narbonne Plage) was a 30 minute drive away. Our favourite restaurant “La Vauban” was a 10 minute walk away and there is a good artisan ale bar “Oppidum” just 100 meters away. Thank you for making our stay st your Gite so enjoyable, we would not hesitate to stay again if we visit that corner of France.

We stayed for two weeks at the beginning of July. The gite is exactly as pictured and described. The pool is a good size and there is a shaded area for relaxing and eating. Capestang is a nice village with a good choice of restaurants and bars just a five minute walk from the gite. There are two supermarkets, Lidl and Intermarche, which were both a ten minute walk away. There is a bus stop close by and you can catch a bus to Beziers for 2 Euros.
