Charming house in a medieval village surrounded by beautiful nature

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans un espace de vie confortable, authentique, décoré avec goût. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement qui nous a de suite séduit. Bien situé, il nous a permis de découvrir la ville de Rodez ((Son musée Soulages, sa cathédrale, entre autres) et plusieurs autres charmants villages de caractère. Par ailleurs, nous avons pu randonner sans problème dans ce beau coin de l'Aveyron.

Vaste maison avec sa terrasse en partie couverte vraiment très confortable à vivre. Cette vieille bâtisse est sobrement et agréablement décorée et équipée, seul manque un four micro-ondes pour plus de confort. Le réfrigérateur est également trop petit pour une famille et peine à faire du froid.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette jolie maison Clementine qui offre un cadre très agréable, de l’espace, une petite terrasse très appréciable et les équipements nécessaires, au cœur du village et au calme.

L appartement est très spacieux, propre, la literie impeccable, dans un joli village médiéval. Vraiment un appartement idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances. Je recommande vivement et nous y retournerons.

We loved staying at this beautiful spot in a small, medieval village. The property exceeded our expectations. I imagined dark, cold and clammy, but we found a beautifully appointed and comfortable home. We had everything we needed; the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. We had not expected to want a fire in August but the season is cool and a vented fireplace kept the whole space toasty and romantic. Unlike some reviewers, we found the wifi to work perfectly, and cell service is OK considering all the thick stone walls. We made good use of the laundry, and got a kick out of the kitchen being in an archway above the street! The property is now well marked and easier to find than it may have been in the past. Ample parking a short distance on the outskirts of town. Lovely village, though there appear to be few permanent residents. There are no local shops, restaurants or major attractions, but we'd had enough of that elsewhere on our trip. Hosts were very responsive, though they had anticipated most of our questions in welcome information. Would definitely stay again, and for longer.

Hemos disfrutado mucho de la tranquilidad en esta preciosa casa medieval que cuenta con todas las comodidades. El entorno es también fantástico: los campos y bosques, el río Tarn, el lago Pareloup... Han sido unos días de naturaleza, historia y relax.

This spacious, well equipped gite was ideally situated inside the medieval walls of Castelnau-Pegayrols. Full of historical features and homely, personal touches and yet very tastefully modernised. Of note Castelnau-pegayrols is very charming but remote, without a shop within 10km. Planning for essential provisions such as wine and milk on arrival is advised! We had a wonderful time and would recommend this as a peaceful and relaxing escape.

Our week in Maison Clémentine was our first holiday of 2018 and it for sure ticked all the boxes. The charming house was perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. We entered the house and immediately got a big smile on our face. We felt at home. Els and Stijn are truly the perfect hosts. There when you need them and respectful for your own privacy. The small town of Castelnau-Pégayrols takes you back in time in a good way. Unfortunately there is no grocery store or bakery but you can find good quality products nearby. For us that only added to the charm. The area was perfect for walking and enjoying nature. We also visited the city of Montpellier. Staying at Maison Clémentine was the perfect start of our holiday season and we for sure will rent the house again in future because when we left there was still so much we wanted to do.
