Charming house in the village center of Venasque

😊: The location of the house in the middle of the village and close to the restaurants and bakery was great. The beds were comfortable, the shower powerful and the kitchen superbly equipped with everything possible required for cooking or beverage making. The location is quiet and very sunny with a pleasant south-west facing terrace. The overall place was uncluttered and linen plus towels were provided which is a real bonus in France. The managing agent is responsive.. 😢: TV is mounted above a fire place at 2M from the ground making it uncomfortable to watch. No shutters and no curtains (bar very light ones in the living area) meant that the rooms get hot during the intense Provence sunshine. There is no way to block out the light. Given the house is on a very narrow street with no parking outside, getting bags in an out of the car requires planning and speed. In addition, the rooms are up at least one flight of stairs; therefore taking large or heavy items to the apartment can be challenging. The terrace on the rear is beautiful, but we found it impossible to dine outside given that any food or drink immediately attracted waves of wasps..
