Charming rental with private pool - Central Corsica - natural and quiet setting

Comfortable and clean apartment with amazing views. The pool was also fantastic. Thanks to Fabrice for letting us stay in this special place and also to Coline her husband Herve who helped us check in and out and gave us lots of advice about the local area.

I traveled with a friend and it was our first stay on Corsica. Robert and Michelle welcomed us at their place. As the apartment is situated on the lowest level in the house, they are always around in case you would need them. Everything you need is in the apartment, wonderful garden and great swimming pool. The road to the house is a bit difficult but you get used to it easily. It's about 30 minutes drive to the supermarket. We had a great stay. Thank you Robert and Michelle.

A €50 cleaning fee is requested on check-out unless visitors willing to clean property from top to bottom prior to check-out, this fee came as a disappointing suprise and wasnt advised in any communications from home and away, this fee should have been incorporated into property rental price. I hope home and away address this in its advertising and email confirmations to avoid further customer frustration. I've found the home and away brand very good up until now.

You can't get to heaven without a little bit of effort and the road up to San Lorenzo is not for the faint hearted. However, once there the beauty of the mountains, the fragrant garden and the birdsong makes this a paradise. Robert and Michelle are very welcoming hosts. Robert speaks good English, (without a hint of a Scottish accent!) and was very helpful in recommending places to visit and local produce to try. As recommended, make sure you take all your provisions, it is a 30 minute drive back for a pint of milk. The accommodation is no frills old world French; spacious and cool. As we enjoyed a week of glorious weather we ate every meal in the garden and began and ended the day with a dip in the spacious and well maintained pool. A truly memorable experience.

Roberto & Michelle are fantastic. The apartment is very nice and they are willing to help in anything needed. Their recomendations are great and to be taken in acount. San Lorenzo is a very special place. The views, the forrest and the villages that suround it are incredible. The roads in Corsica are all narrow and you have to be carefull when driving. and San Lorenzo in this sense is not an exception. We had a wondefull time.

Greeted by the wonderful Robert and Michelle we were shown to the apartment, where everything was spotless and better than we imagined. A really great place to get away from everything with hosts that were always available but left us to get on. Corsica was a wonderful place to visit and Robert was full of recommendations. Be prepared for an interesting drive to get to the apartment but we certainly felt became part of the charm. Robert and Michelle thanks and thanks again, we absolutely loved it!

We had a perfect week there. The hosts are very welcoming. If you need anithing, they will help you out. It`s a house in the hills, so be prepared...The next supermarket ist about 20 km away. But for this, you have a quiet nice flat with almost no noise. Some very good hikes are nearby or can be reached within less than one hour. Perfect!
