Everything was as described. Directions to the property were very clear. Check-in was easy and the property manager who greeted us and the owner who arrived the second day of our stay were both very kind. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and provided linens were clean. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals and was clean on arrival. Spiderwebs were abundant throughout the house which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars for cleanliness, however, this is as expected for a farmhouse and didn’t really bother us at all. We enjoyed our stay very much despite the rainy weather, which limited our ability to fully enjoy the garden. The location was very convenient to visit multiple beautiful chateaux in the region. Our children loved the two loft areas for sleeping and relaxing. We enjoyed seeing deer each evening we returned and even saw a sounder of boar run through the field at dusk one night. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I was in the area.

A lovely hidden cottage, yet close to all the Chateau and attractions. Very quiet and peaceful, with a well planned kitchen. I would say basic French is essential, but all the locals and the key holder were very patient and friendly, tolerating our rusty school French. We hired bikes from Jadi Vert in Bracieux, no english but very friendly and cheap bicycles that we used to cycle into Bracieux with our children on quiet roads to buy our bread and croissants every morning. We were unlucky with the weather, but the wood burner was an absolute joy at the end of a busy day sight seeing. This cottage was excellent value for money and its rustic charm and location near an authentic French village not over run with tourists (like us! ) Was perfect! Wifi worked but fluctuated - fine if you are holidaying not working. Beds firm but comfortable. Thank you Madam we loved our stay.

Sehr ruhig, im Wald an einer großen Wiese gelegenes Haus. Chambord und Blois sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Maison impeccable, bien située pour qui veut visiter les châteaux de la Loire. Environnement calme, en campagne. On aurait bien voulu prolonger notre séjour... Mme Sol, propriétaire, est charmante. On y retournerait !

Visite des châteaux de La Loire a velo. Emplacement idéal avec un hangar pour garer nos vélos. Gîte très agréable pour 4 adultes. Marie-Claude est très sympathique. Michel

Merci pour cet agréable séjour ! Le gite est agréable, bien équipé. Nous avons pu profiter du soleil en terrasse en fin de journée. Nous avons eu le plaisir de croiser en balade à pied un chevreuil et un lièvre. Les enfants ont adoré jouer au pong pong.

Situation pratique pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire. Endroit très calme et agréable.
