CHARMING VILLA,UP-MARKET,PANORAMIC SEA VIEW, 3MN WALK TO A BEAUTIFUL SAND BEACH

Gute Lage, sehr schöner Garten und wunderschöne Terrasse, Küche gut ausgestattet; drei separate Schlafzimmer und – aus unserer Sicht einziger Nachtteil an dem Haus: ein Zimmer auf der Empore über dem Wohnzimmer, das nur durch einen Vorhang vom Wohnzimmer getrennt und dadurch sehr hellhörig ist. Das könnte besser aus der Beschreibung hervorgehen. Noch ein Vorschlag: an einigen Fenstern wäre ein Mückenschutz sehr hilfreich (in der Küche und in den Bädern), das würde das Lüften erleichtern und könnte sogar Strom für die Klimaanlage sparen. Nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter, Haus war sehr sauber beim Einzug. Danke, dass wir zu Gast sein durften! La maison est très bien située, avec un très beau jardin et une terrasse magnifique, cuisine bien équipée ; trois chambres à coucher séparées et - de notre point de vue, le seul inconvénient de la maison : une chambre en mezzanine au-dessus du salon, qui n'est séparée du salon que par un rideau et qui est donc très bruyante. Cela pourrait être plus clair d'après la description. Autre suggestion : un anti-moustique sur certaines fenêtres serait très utile (dans la cuisine et dans les salles de bain), faciliterait la ventilation et pourrait même économiser de l'électricité pour le système de climatisation. Propriétaires gentils et serviables, maison très propre à l'arrivée. Merci de nous laisser être des invités!

Une très belle maison dans un environnement calme avec une vue magnifique et une décoration soignée. Villa idéale pour une semaine entre amis. Très bon accueil de Magalie à notre arrivée. Nous avons apprécié les bons conseils touristiques et gastronomiques de Marie-Ange.

Our relaxing vacation was amazing. The house is great, full comfort, nothing was missing. We all enjoyed the air conditioning, barbecue and relaxing on the terrace. After enjoying the white sandy beaches around, we were always happy to go back to the villa and to contemplate the sea view! For sure , we 'll come back !

This villa sits in a quiet corner of a small residential development. It has a lovely view over to the sea and the hillside beyond which is fabulous to see in the evening sun when it lights up the rocky crest to the left and the sandy beach opposite. We were met by the very nice Marcel who explained everything to us. I am not sure if he speaks English. The villa is large and has enough crockery, pots, pans etc to cater for a huge gathering! Normally in holiday rentals we end up with four of everything so see no point in using the dishwasher, here we could happily do so. The decor is rustic but comfortable and we were warm in March with small heaters. There is only one bedroom downstairs with a modern shower room with huge shower. Up stairs - which are open tread and windy at the bottom ( beware with children) - is a cosy mezzanine with large bed that can be curtained off for privacy. There is another double bedded room up there and a room with two single beds. Also nice shower room. We had good contact with Marie-Ange right from the beginning when she answered all my questions about warmth (yes), good WiFi (yes) and parking (Yes). She speaks excellent English for those that fear to ring her and is keen for you to have a good holiday. A very nice and peaceful holiday.

Farniente has a unique location with beautiful views over the bay. the furnishing is very tasteful and the architecture is very practical with kitchen + dining in the center and quiet bedrooms to the east side. the hosts are very friendly and we can really recommend this place for early October. The west coast had warm weather and lots of sunshine - and we were almost the only people at the beach. a perfect week of sun for our kids who live in Oslo, Hamburg and Berlin.

This property is a stunner with all of the comforts of a well appointed home and then some. The location in the village of Tiuccia is excellent as you can walk to the bakery, cafe, and white sandy beach. The house is sited on the lot to maximize the views which are breathtaking. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the house because we enjoyed being there so much. It is a good base of operations to see many things in the area and Marcel, the caretaker, is very helpful with providing information and any assistance you may need. He and his wife are lovely. The owners were very helpful from our first contact with them - assisting us with directions and information on the Tour de France route which passed right through this beautiful area of Corsica. The kitchen is very well appointed and in addition to enjoying the excellent nearby restaurants we were able to cook and to use the grill. Though we were not travelling with children, we noticed that the house was well appointed for families and appreciated the washing machine and linen rental so that we could travel light. I can't say enough about this property, our experience, and the vacation. I hope to return one day.

We really enjoyed our holiday at this beatiful house. All rooms are tastefully furnitured. The house is very well equipped - from salad spinner to professional barbecue. We especially enjoyed the views to the bay and the hills from the terrace. I could have sit there all day and watch the light and the sea change. For us - two families with three kids - Farniente was the ideal place to stay. The house is ideally loacated for all kinds of activities: Tiuccia beach is in walking distance, other very beatiful beaches can be reached in a couple of minutes by car. Calanche, Ajaccio, Vico, nice streams for walking and bathing can all be reached within an hour by car. My daughter and I also frequently went to the nearby ranch for sensational trips on the horseback. All the seven of us found these two weeks much too short!

When we arrived and first entered the house, we all agreed "a wonderful house"!! The pictures don't promise too much. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The house did also offer enough space and rooms to accommodate our big family - we travelled with 8 persons, including 3 kids. We loved in particular the fantastic terrasse with the wonderful view down to the bay. The BBQ in the garden was gorgeous and the kids loved to play table tennis. We really all enjoyed our week in that house. It was also perfectly located regarding all the sightseeing and little hikes we wanted to do and we loved the uncrowded beaches. Marcel the housekeeper was very friendly and the informations were very helpfull. Last but not least the contact to the owner was great. Marie Ange was very kind and she answered all my questions very prompt. We would really recommend this property!!
