Château d'Argouges , Bayeux-Port-en-Bessin, avec piscine chauffée

Absolutely loved our stay at Chateau Argouges. We had a three generation family and everyone enjoyed, from cooking French food in the farm style kitchen to reading by the fireplace, exploring the gardens to playing ping pong in the game room, reading about the WWII history to playing chess in the billiards room there was something for everyone. Highly recommend, only wish we could have stayed longer, maybe another time.

Simply magnificent ! Incredible property. Well equipped comfortable sprawling property. Everything we needed for a fantastic experience. We were 14 and never felt crowded. Thank you for a great place to stay while seeing an amazing area at our pace.

Exactly as shown, beautiful and well restored 19th century chateau. Our entire family, ranging in age from 2-64, spent a wonderful week. Location is perfect for exploring D-Day history.

We loved our stay! The chateau had plenty of space for our group of 11. The stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed the various seating areas that we could congregate and spend time together. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. We would return again!

Our family of 10 stayed here for five days and absolutely LOVED it! Thibeaut, the house manager, met us when we arrived and showed us all around the property that he and his wife have lovingly renovated. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and our family enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool.If you are thinking about having a special celebration at the house, as others have said, Chef Francoise is your guy!We celebrated a Law School graduation and a 60th birthday while there, and made wonderful memories!

I can’t say enough about Thibault and his chateau. Our group of 13 had a wonderful stay! The chateau was clean and spacious. Our kids teenagers enjoyed the pool, trampoline, snooker table, and game room. A highlight was hiring Francois, at Thibault’s recommendation, to cook for us one night. An amazing experience! It was also a treat to have both a washer and dryer to use. The property is very conveniently located for all D Day museums, sites, and activities. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Normandy!

Château très bien situé à 10 min des plages, bien équipé. Adapté aux familles avec enfants. La piscine chauffée est un plus.

We had a great stay in this historic chateau, which we used as a base to explore Normandy. We had a mix of adults and teenagers in our 12 person group, and the chateau had plenty of room to cook, eat, and rest from our activities. Lovely classic house and the gardens and landscaping were classic Normandy. Thibault was always very responsive to our questions. We would stay here again.
