Amazing spot in a pretty...<br>#128578; The location is stunning and we enjoyed our stay. It felt very exotic to be staying in such a huge and historic building.<br>#128577; There wasn't much in the way of communal space we could use. Our daughter (15) sat in a room adjoining the breakfast room as there was wifi there and a card giving details, but was told by the owner that she wasn't allowed in there and could only be in the room or outside.

Fabulous tour!<br>#128578; We loved this quirky chateau stay. The best part by far was the tour of the chateau (payable on top of stay, even though it states it’s included - but well worth it). There is so much history here and the stories were really brought to life on the tour.<br>#128577; Nothing about the property, just about the town. Whilst the town was pretty, it wasn’t very vibrant. We stayed on a Saturday evening and even though the river would have made a great backdrop for a lively friendly cafe - we couldn’t find anywhere for a relaxing drink. The pizzeria near the chateau was lovely however and the staff very welcoming.
