Château De Grenier Apartment

😊: Close to the Canal du Garonne and other Eurovélo bike routes. Secure bike storage, a beautiful pool and garden and comfortable accommodation. A warm welcome from the family.. 😢: A few simple bathroom toiletries would’ve been welcome as we were bike touring. The owners asked for feedback before we left and we suggested this. Everything else was really comfortable..

😊: Good location just off the highway exit /perfect for a pass through stay. 😢: The heating wasn’t on, so we arrived at 1am to a pretty cold house. Black out curtains in the bed room would have been appreciated and leaving a few every day necessities for guests like coffe, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar for those that prefer cooking for themselves, Especially when travelling with children. The sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable to sleep in with a metal bar across the middle line. Our appartement was on the back of the house and we had to walk through the wet grass to get there. We’d have appreciated if the grass was cut , so we wouldn’t arrive at the apartment with our shoes wet. Not the warmest welcome from the hosts upon checkout..

We (plus 2 pups) stayed in the Apartment for a couple of days as we had business in Tonneins, small but well furnished, a microwave would have been handy. There's a large Gite onsite that look set up for families - overall a fantastic location if you're visiting the area and want to have loads of space right outside your door. Owners were brilliant (as were their dogs!) and very keen to make sure our stay was enjoyable..
