We got a free upgrade to a suite that had historic paintings, amazing books, and antique objects. The host, Alexandre offered us a breakfast in a stunning setting. He cares so much about this place that he redecorated over eight years turning it into a gem. His knowledge of history and interior design is unparalleled. Le Château de la Pommeraye est un lieu haut de gamme à la décoration soignée et la propreté irréprochable. Le confort et les attentions sont dans tous les détails, que ce soit dans les chambres, la salle de bain ou dans les pièces communes. L'accès au Château se fait par une jolie route, une belle immersion dans ce lieu magique et très calme. Merci à son propriétaire pour son accueil !

Alexandre, our host at the Chateau, was simply wonderful. There are only a few rooms, so it was a very special stay, and the rooms are beautiful and large. The experience he provides is staying in a private home, with a formal living room, a dining room for breakfast, and a sitting room for relaxing. He recommended a place for dinner nearby the first night and then cooked a three-course meal for us on the second. He has brought the Chateau back to its original look with great style. We wish we could have stayed longer!
