Château de Nazelles Amboise - Luxury Suite, Sauna

Wonderful Charming 16 Century Chateau...<br>#128578; Veronique spoke wonderful English and was able to help every day to recommend restaurants and book reservations.<br>#128577; The breakfast was not really worth $15 E, and it was awkward to ask for every little bite they offered. Wevwould have liked to be able to drink our own wine purchased at the wine tasting locations across France. We were told we needed to buy the wine from Chateau Nazelles, which was new to us as we had stayed there 10 years ago. The WIFI was annoying as it rarely worked in the room. I believe they will change this.

A wonderful place in a...<br>#128578; What’s not to like about staying in a 500 year old castle? Wonderful view from our castle window, beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau, warm and welcoming staff and close to all the major chateaux and the beautiful town of Amboise.<br>#128577; Steep stairs to our room in the turret, but that goes with the territory, and the helpful staff carried our 2 suitcases up the stairs for us.

This stay was absolutely amazing, besides the stunning landscape, building and grounds, Veronique, the owner, was especially warm and welcoming. This stay truly felt like you were welcomed into someone's home, while remaining a small, quiet and private get away.

Great staying beautiful little hotel with nice staff. Would definitely be back!
