Beautiful, relaxing stay in a...<br>#128578; Loved our stay in Chateau de Salvert. The property was well equipped and comfortable and extremely relaxing. The kids loved the swimming pool with diving board. We went for a walk in the boar forest which was peaceful and well looked after. We were excited to actually see 6 boars during our walk. It was also night to see hot air balloons every night. I would recommend for a relaxing break. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely fabulous quintessential French find<br>#128578; Beautiful location and surrounding villages. Pool was delightful and kids spent all day in there. Pool wasn't boiling but good for France. Diving board was a huge hit and we spent many hours perfecting all kinds of jumps! Gete was beautiful, only criticism was that beds could have been more comfortable. Wild boars were quite spectacular (would have been better without a 1 and 3 year old with us as we wouldn't have scared them off quite so quickly!!) Hosts were lovely. Peaceful gite in the countryside<br>#128578; Beautiful peaceful property in the countryside. Less than 20 minutes drive from Saumur. The pool area is gorgeous and well maintained by the lovely couple living at the Chateau.

We will return to this...<br>#128578; The gite is very well decorated and the location is excellent to visit nearby towns. The grounds are vast and free to explore as well as the wild boar forest. Pool area is great and has a beautiful view of the chateau as well as the nearby village.
