Beguineries Gîte très agréable avec une vue sur la forteresse de chinon superbe

Super ! Un véritable petit château dans les vignes avec une vue imprenable. Le propriétaire est également vigneron et produit un excellent vin. Il y a une autre gite juste à côté.

Un très beau gite, dans un cadre magnifique. Très beau gite, vaste, avec cuisine, chambre et salles de bains rénovées et fonctionnelles. Et un salon d'époque. Le parc et la vue sur la Vienne sont à l'avenant. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire, bref, un sans faute, nous recommandons !

Great Location - Short walk from the town Great location, just a short 15 minute or so walk down into the town centre - 30 minute walk to the train station. Gite is well equipped and has everything you might need. Fabulous views from the terrace to the Fortress and the river. Fantastic main lounge/TV room.

Things that go bump in the night! An old house in a spectacular location looking across at the fortress of Chinon and the river below. Lovely terrace for meals and drinks outside looking at the view. The house is well equipped and the gift of a bottle of wine from the owner's estate was enjoyed! Our only negative experience was being woken from sleep several times every night by the sounds of scratching and scurrying in the roof space above all of the bedrooms (probably a feral cat chasing prey, the adjoining property is dilapidated). On the first occasion we thought there were intruders in the house, and got up to check! We did report this immediately, but understand it will be difficult to resolve. Light sleepers beware!
