In one word.... fantastic!! The beds are good, the house is authentic with all the modern luxery.The heated swimmingpool 10m long x5m wide and 1.70 deep is really great!! And the host David is fantastic, a real gentleman.

We rented the place with our family of 6 adults. Very charming place with a large beautiful garden in peaceful and in equally beautiful surroundings.The host was very attentive to our well-being and easy to contact; next to making sure our stay in the cottage was care free, he was also keen to provide us with all sorts of to-do tips in the area.Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful fortnight's stay in this GITE which is set in a peaceful hidden location about 20minutes inland from Honfleur. The swimming pool was a great hit with everyone particularly the children. It was warm and clean and not too deep and had a shallow area for the youngest. The GITE is very old and it felt like we were living in a gentler less harassed time. Having said that the Internet was slow but worked and the T V had Netflix. Kitchen was well equipped for a holiday and the 2 bathrooms, although small, always had plenty of hot water. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature you will love staying here. We had a resident toad and saw local deer,bats and heard owls hooting in the night. The starry skies were awesome. David was super kind to us and the staff looking staff looking after the property were courteous and discrete. We all loved our stay in this fairytale cottage.

We loved our time in Normandy. Communication with David was excellent, and Anne marie was very attentive and helpful in showing us the property. We loved the swimming pool, pentaque, table tennis and the grass where we had the odd game of cricket and football with the kids. Very quiet, but we could still walk just over half an hour to the nearest town where there was a supermarket, 2 bakers, petrol station and I think all shops we could have required. The property felt like a home, we were not worried there was too much the children could break! One thing to note is that the 3 bedrooms upstairs gain access through each other, rather than from a landing which was no problem for our party, but could be an issue for other groups. Overall we had an excellent time and would highly recommend

We stayed at David’s lovely house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is so beautiful from the outside - like a postcard, and the grounds surrounded by trees, and with splendid flower beds (especially the stunning hydrangeas). The tree lined drive is stunning. The pool is perfect - around 28 degrees all days, great size and a small lip around the deep end which was great for the children. The house inside has rustic charm with an amazing fireplace, extremely well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and endless hot water. There are some interesting features which the children liked - obviously the thatched roof, and the stairs to upstairs being on the outside of the property but protected from the elements by the thatch. The swing set, table tennis, boule area and trampoline were all very fun, and appreciated. Honfleur is beautiful and just 20 minutes away. Nearest supermarket in Beuzeville is just 5 minutes away. We will be returning and look forward to another week in Quetteville.
