It is first of all a place that connects you to the history of the region and mostly the story and life of its people. We slept in what used to be a laundry room for the families of miners who lived in Cité des Électriciens. The contrast between the calm and comfort of our beautiful accommodation and the harsh lives of the people around here in the past was striking (and not lost on us!). Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful...

Very nice place to stay...<br>#128578; Firstly, this is very interesting place, not typical hotel or apartments, but art colony. You need to walk between buildings to find reception, which is open until 6 pm. If you arrive after 6pm, you should receive instructions to collect your key from a safe box. There is a plenty of parking space, and the location is very good for those who want to use to Calais or Dunkirk - about one hour drive from both places.
