😊: Really different. Location amazing! Loads of room. Lovely owners. Beds so comfy. Well kitted out. In general, Dunkirk itself was lovely too! Great mini break.. 😢: Probably needs a little refurbishment. Would be great if you could share location of safe multi story carpark as there were a few parking locations. It’s obvious when you know. Would be great to have a proper kettle. Us English love a proper cup of tea 😉. But really we loved it overall. Promise these aren’t moans!.

😊: We were only there for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable. 😢: Place was dirty, needed to be cleaned. Had to do it ourselves. No kettle, needs updating. Broken facilities and internet not functional at all Not what we expected.to find especially for the price. It was a converted shop or commercial space made into an apartmrnt Pet friendly but the also charged a seperate see of 39 euro per pet seperately after booking. This should be clearly disclosed. Being so close to the UK also expected some english communication but everything by email and in French.

😊: - Apartment was very modern and nicely done, very quirky i must admit - Centrally located close to attractions and shops and restaurants - Close to parking which was free since we parked on the weekend after 18:00 on Saturday - Easy to get into with the help of the key box and the code. 😢: - Host was not responsive. I called the host 4 times after checking into the apartment but they did not answer my calls nor did they call back. This is not acceptable for someone who hosts tourists. If you cannot answer a call or call back you should not be hosting people. - There are two bathrooms but only 1 toilet which was a little annoying since we were 2 familes with kids. What this means is that while we had our own bathroom as a family, for the toilet we literally to queue up especially since we had kids with us. - More annoying was that there was no toilet paper in the house. We called the host repeatedly to bring some but when our calls went unanswered we had to go to a supermarket and pick up some ourselves which was inonvenient. - The cleaning was superficial. The rooms were clean but when we opened up the sofa beds for the kids there was a lot of dust and rubbish under the bed. We vacuumed both the sofa bed and the area under it ourselves. The cleaning fee is pretty substantial so the cleaning needs to be more thorough in nature. - The toiletaries were not checked. In one bathroom there was a nearly empty bottle of shower gel. Again something that should have been checked. - Lastly there is no dishwasher and after seeing the rubbish under the sofas we started questioning whether the cutlery was cleaned well and ended up washing and risning everything before we used it and after..

😊: The apartment is absolutely beautiful inside, the owners must be designers as it’s incredibly stylish with some really cool and funky features. There was no kettle which was a little disappointing (unless I failed to spot it) but it had everything else needed and is lovely and spacious.. 😢: The location is pretty bad, not much around really but we were only stopping one night before heading to the crossing so we just drove to the beach which is the real hub of Dunkerque..
