When we arrived at the accommodation and after we had left the deposit of €250, there were some papers informing us that before leaving we should take out the sheets, pillowcases and towels and put them in front of the washing machine in a bin. Also, among our obligations were to have put the dishes and glasses in their washed places (something that of course we would have done without telling us), to leave the house clean as we found it, to sweep it with the vacuum cleaner and to throw away all the garbage (of course we would have done it but the way he asks for them is wrong). The brochure also informed us that if we do not leave the house as written on the papers, he would keep €50 from the deposit we gave. This sounds as a blackmail, he wants the deposit in order to ask for these obligations. The excuse that we have to clean the house is that the next person who comes should find it clean. Cleaning the accommodation is the owner's obligation in our opinion. In our case, we got up 1 hour earlier to clean the house so that he could give us back the €250 deposit. Having stayed in hundreds of accommodation around the world, this is the first time we have encountered such absurd terms in accommodation. It would be good for the owners to inform us in advance about these terms. The photos we attach are informative. Also he should mention on Booking that the apartment is on the ground floor..

😊: Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. The hosts were so lovely, and friendly and it was in a perfect location for walking into the beautiful town of Colmar.. 😢: Nothing to dislike..
