Child-friendly villa with pool, garden & BBQ | Garden view | Good for workation | Pet-friendly

This is a beautiful property in a quiet village. Great for relaxing and spending time with family.The property is clean and very well presented as well as having all amenities that you might want. The pool, although not big is more than suitable for families with sun beds and loungers. The host was very attentive and answered any questions that we had promptly. Although the host spoke little English and I spoke very little French we managed to use google translate and the interaction was always friendly and helpful. The only issues we had were that a couple of the sun loungers needed repairing, something that we could do but would probably need fixing or replacing in the future. The house was very hot during the stay, obviously this area of France is warm so that’s on us really, fans are provided in the rooms but only served to blow warm air around, obviously air conditioning would be perfect but the cost implication is large. It wasn’t unbearable by any measure but something to consider.

We have just returned from our amazing family holiday staying at Villa La Forge. Accommodation is spacious both inside and out and very well equipped. However, we were surprised that bath towels are not provided. Transporting bath and beach towels for 12 adults and 3 children when flying presents a problem with luggage allowance! The outdoor pool is great and some members of the family enjoyed the hot tub too. The weather whilst we were staying was unusually hot reaching 37 degrees on a couple of days. There is no air con at the property and whilst we were provided with a few fans the rooms upstairs were unbearably hot to sleep in. Thank goodness for the pool to cool off! The villa is situated in a lovely, quiet little village which is fabulous but you definitely need a car to go shopping and visit the beautiful surroundings. The host, Mickael was extremely helpful in answering endless questions before we arrived and also during our stay. Thank goodness for Google translate!! We are home now with a host of happy memories from a wonderful holiday.
