City trip Strasbourg

😊: Apartment was clean. 😢: The bedsheets and towels were old. There weren't enough clean sheets for three people evethough we booked for three. Some of the towels and sheets were still wet(drying) when we arrived. We saw that floor mops and shower towels, sheets etc was hanged altogether, I guess they washed them together which is not hygenic at all. Kitchen utensils fork, spoon etc were also not enough. There was no hair dryer or shampoo. There could be more cooking essentials in the kitchen. There is a coffe machine but no coffee pots? There could be at least 3. Overall apartment was clean without dust and tv was nice but sleeping and showering were really bad experiences here. There were no plugs near the bed. Also entering the apartment is like solving a puzzle, I dont recommend staying here..

😊: they had fridge. 😢: 1. The shower door is only half-sized, so water splashes all over the bathroom. There's only one small bath mat, which isn’t enough to keep the floor dry. More mats should be placed. 2. We booked for 3 people for 2 nights, but only 5 towels were provided, so 2 people had to share one. 3. Since the listing allows 3 guests including use of the sofa bed, the sofa cover should be washed after every use. It smelled bad, so we avoided using it. The host said it’s not washed often because the sofa isn’t used much, but just like the bedding, it should be cleaned after each stay. 4. Possibly because of that, there seemed to be bedbugs—I got red swollen bites on my neck. I sprayed repellent and wore a parka while sleeping to avoid more bites. 5. The heating couldn’t go above 21°C no matter how much I tried to turn it up. 6. Although it’s listed as free parking, there’s no guaranteed space. If the street is full, it’s not possible to park and I had to keep circling the area..
