Classbnb - a charming and comfortable apartment in Monte Carlo

😊: Convenient place to get to the center of Monte Carlo, the apartment was ok. 😢: Everything was ok.

😊: The place was clean (9/10), location is very close to Monaco (10/10), it is quiet (9/10), every room has a small TV and you can change the audio for some channels to English (9/10), price was attractive (8/10). Overall the place has a lot of potential so it is a shame that many small things let it down - see below.. 😢: While the name of the property suggests class and luxury, the reality of the apartment tells a very different story. The experience was marked by a number of disappointing details: loose or falling-off door handles, thin and overused towels, worn-out kitchen equipment, and no proper clothing hangers—only the flimsy kind you'd get from a dry cleaner. Toiletries were essentially non-existent, with just a few nearly empty soap containers left behind. The bedding was clean, but clearly basic, with inexpensive duvet covers and sheets. There was even no towel hook in the bathroom—an example of the many small, practical details that were overlooked. Overall, there was a clear disconnect between the branding and the actual condition of the apartment. It felt like the owner hasn’t considered the everyday needs and expectations of guests, especially for a place marketed at a higher standard. There was also confusion around the key collection process. I received multiple emails from the accommodation, and the relevant information was buried among them. While I eventually managed to find the keys, I don’t think it would have been possible had I arrived late at night. Clearer and more streamlined communication on this point would really help future guests. Internet is super slow especially in the evenings..

😊: The apartment was cozy and well located. Inside, we found everything necessary for our stay, and the staff was efficient with the check-in procedures.
