CLR - Charming Renovated Bourgeois Villa in the Heart of the French Riviera - Villa

😊: The location was in walking distance of the main Cannes town: a hard walk back up the hill but a nice walk and the area felt safe. The property is situated very close to a variety of lovely food shops including a friendly local bakery which we visited each morning for bread etc. The property was incredibly well equipped throughout with good quality equipment in the two kitchens. It was a very comfortable property which was a lot bigger than we expected inside. The interior design was outstanding and superbly done. The pool was amazing and even though not heated it was warm and hit with all ages from our family. Thank goodness there was air con - added bonus for us as it was so hot during our stay! Communication with the host Jason was superb and he answered ALOT of our questions for us. He also organised a good shopping delivery and was at the end of the phone if we needed anything. I can highly recommend eating at Tredici in Le Suquet and Bijou Plage - wonderful food, great staff and an amazing ambiance. Also, if you want to get immersed in Cannes life - pop down to dance in the street of the Suquet on a Thursday evening.. 😢: A proper bbq (coal or gas) would’ve been great as the plancha supplied wasn’t enough to have a bbq for 10 people. Also, there were only 6 sun-beds so 4 of us didn’t have that facility. The window in the small shower room upstairs could do with some kind of blind at the window as it has a completely open window right next to the shower so no privacy..
