😊: Great location in old town and gallery district, quiet area. Reasonable and friendly restaurant close by. Our host Katia arranged 2 different apartments for our group (in the same location) after she said the original apartment we booked had been damaged by previous guests.. 😢: Host could have warned us about lack of taxis. Arrived by train at Joigny and there are no taxis at the station. A French friend called 6 taxi phone numbers on the station wall, no taxis were available. Uber was not available (looks like only 1 for the town?). After an hour we ended up walking with our luggage 45 minutes to the apartments, the last part uphill (...host said 15 minute walk). Not ideal for people 55-75 years. Bed mattress no good. Raised tile floor in kitchen is a tripping hazard, and half the coffee mugs with broken handles (an easy fix). Patchy internet for TV..
