Cocon boisé x Parking by Melrose

😊: Location is amazing. Right on the edge of main city centre. Felt safe to wander out at 10pm for coffee and cake at a café. Beautiful town. Loved our stay. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic view of Bayeux Cathedral from the living area.. 😢: You need to go up one flight of stairs on a steep spiral staircase with no hand rail, which was full of character, but a bit challenging with luggage. Having a secure car parking space was great, but we found it too tight to comfortably turn into driveway. We only used the car park once over the 5 days we were there, chosing instead to find a park nearby which wasn't too hard to find. The door is a bit of a challenge to lock and unlock, but we got the knack of it..

😊: Great car parking. Close to town/restaurants. Having a washing machine and full kitchen was great.. 😢: No air con or fan (heat wave- 32deg!). Location of hand basin and toilet, you have to walk the full length of the apartment to wash your hands after using the toilet. Pub up the road has drunk people staggering past from 1-3am which kept us awake..

😊: The view from the lounge window was amazing - of the cathedral. The location was fantastic, a 2 min walk to the Main Street.. 😢: The shower - if you want to wash yourself I’d recommend standing in the rain for more pressure! That being said, for a short trip we managed and everything else made up for it..

😊: location was ideal, close to town, restaurants, shopping, tours and train station. Kitchen was well appointed, great view to cathedral and having a washing machine was great.. 😢: Bathroom, especially the shower and lack of hand soap. Small double bed and lumpy pillows.

😊: Great location. Comfortable accommodation.. 😢: No blind / curtain in the bedroom which was a bit inconvenient..

😊: Location Parking Facilities. 😢: Very odd collection of crockery,glasses and cutlery!.
