😊: A lovely grandma’s-home feeling. To be fair, if I judge the apartment according to its description, it is a ten out of ten. It offers everything advertised, and even more. The apartment is large, spacious and clean, with plants and very cosy décor that genuinely gives you the feeling of staying at your grandma’s house. It has two bedrooms: one with a comfortable bed, and another with a bookcase and a sleeping mat on the floor. The bathroom is also very spacious. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, and the apartment provided shower gel, plenty of toilet paper, laundry detergent and more than enough towels. There is also a washing machine inside the apartment, a lift in the building and a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy a coffee prepared with one of the Italian stovetop coffee makers provided. Although it is quite far from central Lyon, the location itself is good. The host was friendly, responded quickly and helped me find the lockbox. Check-out at noon is also a big plus.. 😢: But for my personal needs, I would rate it an eight because it does not have Wi-Fi, a microwave, an electric coffee machine, a television or a fan, which was especially noticeable during the hot weather. When travelling, practical facilities that save time make a real difference to me. However, none of these amenities were promised in the listing, so it would be unfair to book while knowing that and then lower the rating because of it. Therefore, based on what was actually advertised and provided, the apartment fully deserves a ten..
