Lovely house, great base for Normandy We had a lovely fortnight at this very comfortable, character full house. It was well equipped, and the garden was lovely -plenty of shade from the sun, and lots of wildlife, especially birds and a friendly horse in the neighbouring field which my daughters loved. The house was in a good location for Caen, Falaise, and also easy driving to the Normandy beaches and Bayeux. Nearby green way was good for running or cycling. The communication with the owner was good - he recommended a good supermarket en route, and was happy to meet us when we arrived a bit late, and see us off when we had to leave early. Overall a lovely 2 weeks!
