Comme un air de Toscane...un vrai retour au source dans ce site paisible et rare

So many superlatives could be used to describe Pascale and Anthony's house. The views are stunning; the setting tranquil; the house blissful; the area beautiful; the hosts warm and welcoming. We had two wonderful weeks in an enviable location with views to match. From the point of our booking, Pascale and Anthony were very helpful and amenable, and it was clear that their priority was for us to feel at ease and welcome, which we did. The house is so comfortable and well-equipped, as well as being very pleasing aesthetically, with many references to the hosts' love of the far east. My husband is an avid cook and the kitchen had everything he needed - and more. The provision of fresh fruits and vegetables and a wide selection of drinks in the fridge was incredibly generous and welcome. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, with cool, fresh linens and there were plenty of fresh towels. We loved the shaded outdoor terrace where we ate most of our meals, and the gardens and pool were a delight. We enjoyed evening walks around the property, seeing plenty of deer and badgers, and took the bikes out for evening rides. The local area is wonderful - special mention to Lectoure (Friday morning market) and Auch with its stunning cathedral - and the meal we had at Chez Vous in nearby St Puy was superb (need to book). We have stayed in very many similar properties across France, Italy and Greece and this was the most wonderful so far - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to return!

Simply one of the best holidays we've had - we did not want to leave! Anthony and Pascale are the consummate hosts. Their home is stunningly peaceful and beautiful. So much thought and love has gone into the restoration - and it is immaculately clean, uncluttered, and architecturally inspiring. They immediately made us feel welcome and even had gorgeous fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, wine and rillettes de canard along with iced cold beverages for us upon arrival. It felt as though we were arriving at a family home after a long journey. The views are spectacular. The home is so comfortable and peaceful you can not help but be transformed into a state of calm. The kitchen is excellent and equipped for a chef. Our girls spent hours each day swimming in the pool, running around the gorgeous grounds, and enjoying bath-time in the spa-like showers and tub. We can not wait to return. Thank you!

We were lucky enough to spend a week at Bellevue for the first week of August. We were two families with 5 children between us ranging from 12 years to 9months. Wow! What can I say? What a beautiful traditional French home. The house itself is utterly charming, full of character and stunning interiors. It’s beautiful and tastefully decorated whilst remaining practical. The outside area is simply magnificent. The pool is relaxing and spacious and warm. The Boules court was an absolute highlight for the children. They spent hours playing. Everything was beautifully maintained. We especially loved the view from the pool. We felt lucky every morning to walk outside and have breakfast surrounded by such a panorama. The house itself was incredibly well equipped. As a keen chef myself I loved the kitchen! Everything I could ever need was there! We were thrilled to find a dishwasher! The adjacent utility room was an excellent idea and we felt comfortable using all of the utilities on offer. The bathrooms were charming, with beautiful showers and a stunning bath with a special vista over the valley. The house has 5 spacious bedrooms. They again were beautifully decorated and all linen was provided. The hosts themselves were wonderful. Welcoming, kind, generous and helpful. We were terribly late arriving and they delayed their holiday departure to wait for us! Upon our arrival they had thoughtfully provided us with cold drinks, a basket of fresh fruit and vegetables (which we loved!) and were attentive to our needs. Special mention would be that prior to our arrival I explained we were bringing a baby and they sourced a cot and high chair for us which was so thoughtful and gratefully received. Our only confusion was where to put the rubbish but a quick email to the owners and we were quickly assisted! Overall we have had a relaxing, charming and special week and would love to return! Nous sommes arrivés au terme d'une longue route fatigante et n'avons pas été déçus! Reçus chaleureusement par les propriétaires, nous avons découvert une maison magnifique conforme aux photos, au beau milieu de paysages superbes! Calme et sérénité sont au rendez-vous mais les sportifs ne sont pas en reste: après un jogging sur les chemins Gersois la piscine à l'eau salée est simplement bienfaisante! Je recommande!
