Excellent 10 day stay in lovely property. The Gite we stayed in was perfect, clean, tidy all mod cons etc. Pool and outdoor facilities also perfect. Lovely hosts - Louise & James, both very helpful. Would recommend without hesitation.

Our stay at Louise and James‘ gite was a fantastic retreat for the whole family. Everybody got their favorites: the kids enjoyed slashing in the beautiful pool, which had a superb lounge area alongside for the parents to relax and enjoy the bbq. Thx to Louise‘s tips we discovered the beautiful city of Limoges, lakes for swimming around the corner and went on hiking tours. The area seems rural, but there is so much to do and see. Overall we have been blessed coming here and having found this beautiful spot with such kind hosts, who were always there to answer questions and make our stay as comfy as possible. We can highly recommend this place.

A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful.

The gite was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and garden area was amazing and our teenagers would have happily spent all day, everyday in there. Location is remote, a car is a must. We also hired bikes but found the area very hilly so you need to be fit! Nearest town is Ambazac which is lovely with shops, a couple of bars and places to eat. The Lac de Saint-Pardoux is worth a visit. There’s a nice beach, water sports and aqua park. Again something the teenagers enjoyed. We didn’t see much of our hosts as they were away most of our stay, we did enjoy a drink with them on our last night though. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We had a great time at this accomodation. Very kind welcome and we were very well looked after. The playfacilities were great for the kids and we've enjoyed tabletennis and the swimming pool ourselves too. The appartement was clean and well equipped. The surroundings were beautiful. Definitely recommend.
