Confortable studio très bien agencé et équipé

Lovely little studio flat with kitchenette. We stayed in the Meersault on the first floor. It was a last minute late booking on our way north from skiing in the Alps to Calais so we didn’t arrive till 10.30pm and left 6am. The place was very modern and stylishly finished. Very clean. Comfy bed. Very easy check in with door code into the reception and keys to flat in a lock box. Couldn’t ask for anything else really. I find some of the negative reviews I’ve read very strange and completely at odds with our experience as it was great! Shame we couldn’t appreciate it more :-)

The little apartment was great, clean, tidy and well equipped. Only challenge was the pullout sofa bed was very creaky and therefore not the best night's sleep. Lovely place and lovely town.

There is a lot to say about our stay at Vign 'appart, only a little bit about it is good. Firstly, our confirmation email from Expedia said we would be met at reception when we arrived. This didn't happen. The door was looked and no one was there. The sign on the door said to use the intercom, but there isn't any intercom, so we called the number on the door of the hotel and no one answered, so I looked at our confirmation email from Expedia and found a different number, which was answered by Mathew, the proprietor. Mathew doesn't speak English, but fortunately my high school French was enough to understand the code he told me to punch in to enter the building and to understand where to find the key for our room. We stayed in the Chambertin Suite and I urge you to avoid this suite at all costs. When you enter the building, you notice a strong smell of mildew. When you enter the Chambertin Suite which is on the ground floor, that smell gets much worse. This small suite has the bedroom in the cellar, which looks cool in the photos, but is mouldy. There are several incense bottles and a dehumidifier in the bedroom, but it is still damp and the mildew smell is overpowering. We had paid for 3 nights, but left after two after both my husband and I felt unwell after two nights in the cellar. I developed a lung infection from the mould, which affected the rest of our vacation and 11 days later I still have a very significant cough. Mathew is nice, but his hotel has issues.

Great location. Booked for 3 adults and 1 kid, room Chambertin is underground, stairs to go down are not really adapted for kids, old or overweighted people, slight humidity, no wifi signal. Considering the price is fair but only good for one night but wouldn’t stay again, moving around is impossible when the sofa is open. It’s clean and staff is nice.

Property was modern and very clean, a very nice stay. The was a problem on arrival, the key was not left in the key box and so we had to make a call the owners as nobody was present at the property. This is an important part of the experience and more care needs to be taken to ensure that keys are left for guests

Fantastic place, wish we could have stayed here more than one night. Room fully equipped with everything you need and more including a washing machine! The family are winemakers and full bottles are waiting in your room cooling in the fridge all at a good price too. Unfortunately, we missed the wine tasting as it was just a quick stop over for us. Lovely, friendly welcome and nothing to much trouble. Highly recommend
