COSTA PLANA COLLECTION - Cap d'Ail - Monaco

A perfect place to stay for two people, a bit cramped with three people. Kitchen work top had a large cut in it, the bathroom sink plug was missing, and the handle was missing from the patio door and looked as though it had been forced open at some point. A big bonus was the terrace of the flat and the swimming pool. Parking facilities good although tight (for Volvo XC60). Access to shops and train station difficult due to terrain (steep hill with lots of stairs back up to the flat so need to be fairly fit). But all in all, a very nice stay.

Wonderful place with a superb sea view. The AC was on when we arrived which was really nice! The instructions for check in was good but read them well as it is not intuitive and the distance up and down is a bit long if you forget the key at the entrance. The pool is at the opposite end og the complex then the appartment and closes at 19h. The village is small and the distance to restaurants a bit long by walking downhill. But all-in-all a good place to spend the night.

Advantages: The view of the sea from the accommodation is good (out of 5/5), relatively clean (out of 3/5), and parking is free (out of 3/5) Disadvantages: Unable to meet the host. Must call 24 hours before. Never recommend if you don't have a phone call or if you're not good at French or English (1/5 points). I booked this accommodation in the process of booking Nice, France. However, this accommodation is a long way from downtown Nice, 35 minutes by toll highway and 40 minutes by regular road roll. Anyone who wants to go to Nice is advised not to use this place (1/5 points) The parking lot has a cliff. It's free, but it's not in a good location (out of 2/5) We booked a room for 3 people. One person said they would provide a sofa bed, but there was no sofa bed, only a sofa. I booked this place for 2 nights, but I packed up and checked out. We do not recommend using this room (2 points out of 5)

This booking was a disaster. The garage entry fob did not work. When we arrived to the unlocked room, the linens were hanging and drying at the front door and the patio. The electrical box in the apartment was opened, and a sharp metal strip wasdangling from the bedroom wall. We requested a room for four people and two beds. We received a queen bed and a futon that one toddler could sleep on. At this point, we requested a refund from the owner, to which he agreed. We immediately returned the rental keys to the property staff. Subsequently, the property owner denied that he agreed to a refund. We have used hotels.com for years. This property was by far the worst experience we've ever had. The owner is a fraud and misrepresented the property details.
