😢: I paid for the accommodation in advance and couldn't book it because it was sold to someone else. The staff didn't answer the phone. They did the same thing to a friendly couple the day before. Imagine arriving in a strange city in the evening to a certain, supposed accommodation and not knowing where to sleep. They don't answer and disappear so that you don't have to deal with the guest because they sold the accommodation you had already paid for to someone else at a higher price. Since there is no reception, you can't do anything..

😊: Nothing. 😢: Absolutely pathetic experience of stay and booking com did not solve it despite proofs and multiple calls submitted. No air conditioner but was mentioned. Only fan cooler. 8 Moulded buns found in the oven which makes kitchen not healthy to cook in. Paint was cracking on walls. Fridge was full of old food - making the freezer not usable. Absolutely inhabitable place. At an extremely high price - 3 times the rate of hotels like Mercure and raisin were charging in the area. Dirty linen. No linen for the sofa bed. Dirty towels in the washer. Rude host who threatens and my nearly 3000 $ advance paid for 6 days went total waste as I took another Accomodation for my son. Booking com response was of no use - they have no control on the properties they are selling. Unlike Airbnb which offers full refund if property is inhabitable which something with mould and stale food and non air conditioned at peak of paris summer is . They refused to sort get my refund - I have not received a single penny back neither did they get me another property. I wasted another 200$ making international calls to booking ,com. Lesson learnt - never book an apartment on booking com. Nothing can be trusted and they have no control absolutely on the owners or the property and cannot guarantee the quality you see in pictures and the price that’s quoted. Pity that they call me a genius 3 tier member and I have over 200 bookings last 4/5 years with them. I have video of the entire apartment with moulded bread etc and I think social media should take it up so people don’t get conned with booking com not getting refund from the customer or expecting their mistake- they don’t deserve to sell apartments if they cannot control the quality that’s mentioned..

😢: Have to mention that the capsule coffee machine did not work :).
