Cosy castle with swimming pool

Staying at the Charming Castle was an absolute delight! The garden view was stunning and the pool was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring, Highly recommend for families!

This place is all about comfort and charm, The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for our family, Plus, the nearby supermarket was just a short drive away, A wonderful base for our vacation!

This castle exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room for our group, and we loved the cozy decor, The location was peaceful and perfect for relaxation,

Mooie ligging en omgeving. Het meer van Bourget is een echte aanrader. Het appartement is echter gedateerd met heel oude keuken en badkamer (jaren 90?). Oud blad en keukenkastjes, scheuren, rotte voegen, etc. Ook schimmel op de muren, en roest in badkamer. Ook loslopende muizen. Dus echt tijd voor een upgrade van het interieur.

Helpful pleasant staff on site, if you asked, but minimal info provided in apartment. Good base for visiting the area, but car essential. Enjoyed our stay despite some negatives.<br>#128577; The pool had green algae throughout stay. I was told safe to swim in, but having been told it was green algae, decided it wasn’t safe. This was v disappointing as one reason I chose this place. Kitchen v small no oven- no washing machine. Shower leaked and also sink in kitchen sink in bathroom. Much needed updating and improving. All rather ‘quirky’! Could have been cleaner, especially kitchen floor.

De tuin is prachtig, maar het goedkope plastic tuinmeubilair kan echt niet. Doet echt afbreuk aan het geheel en is bovendien verre van comfortabel. Het kasteel is van buiten prachtig, maar binnen veel achterstallig onderhoud. Om maar wat te noemen: de verwarming van de badkamer rolt bijna uit elkaar van de roest. Het keukenblad is gescheurd en daardoor niet hygiënisch, de keukenvloer ziet er vies uit en de koelkast mist minstens twee plankjes. Het glasservies is bij elkaar geraapt en incompleet. Her kasteel zelf is een Belvilla, maar de rest, inclusief het zwembad, is het predicaat Belvilla niet waardig.

The castle grounds were stunning. The pool, garden areas and our terrace were perfect to relax around. The apartment was not clean. There were spider webs and spiders. The worst were the ants all over the kitchen. It was impossible to make any food in there and keep it hygienic. The staff were unhelpful and not understanding to deal with this.

Perfect for families! The castle had everything we needed, including a lovely kitchen and a great garden for the kids to play in, The nearby forest trails were an added bonus for our morning hikes
