Cosy Chambord à 10 minutes du château

😊: Very good location. But that's about it.. 😢: This was all managed remotely, we never met the host. The apartment is Lilliputian. It is just incredible how they managed to fit a bathroom in such a minuscule space. Not ideal to have to go down the stairs each time..

😊: - Place was nicely renovated - Charming decor - Very easy check in & check out - Kitchen facilities complete - Big fridge - Blow dryer and steamer provided (nice touch ;) ) - Free parking next to the property - Shops & restaurants nearby - Close to Bloise & Chateau de Chambord - Nice forest nearby to take a walk or run - Easy & friendly communication with the host, Fanny. 😢: The owner really did their best to renovate the property the best way they can but these are the things that made the experience not the most comfortable for us. Of course, this may vary from one person to another. - Loud noise from the street. It’s true what the other reviews say about the cars & trucks passing. - Bathroom & shower space is indeed small. Not suitable for bigger/taller people. - Bathroom is downstairs (for a person who pees a lot, especially during the night, this can be unpleasant) - Cannot throw toilet paper in the toilet (we are not used to this so it was a bit weird to throw them in the bin 😬) - Sink in the bathroom is indeed very small (but not a big deal - I washed my face and brushed my teeth upstairs in the kitchen sink) - Despite the 2 electric fans provided, it is not enough to combat the heat. It can be up to 28 degrees celsius. For us, this was uncomfortable (but Fanny says they are considering installing aircon which would we be great :) ) I think it would’ve been a much comfortable stay during a cooler period. If it’s not too hot and you can close all the windows, the noise outside is definitely much bearable. In any case, big thanks to Fanny for considering her guests remarks. Much appreciated. 🙏🏼😊.

😊: The kitchen well equipped, the position near the castle, the owner very kind. 😢: The shower is a little bit small..
