😊: Good location and parking. 😢: Uncomfortable bed, bedding not particularly clean, advertised facilities not in use. A £30 refund was promised, but not received..

😊: Parking just outside, nicely decorated.jacuzxi which I used the next morning when it had heated up. 😢: I did not receive any info about key safe until I rang the host. Laurent said I had to pay 300€ deposit, of which I was unaware. He sounded very angry, saying people had no respect for the property. I had to pay of course.So I was terrified of breaking anything & the jacuzzi was only 27 degrees but I did not dare complain. It took 4 days to get my deposit back - not happy at all.I left the flat in a perfect condition. Laurent even thought I had not used the bed! Host needs to learn some people skills..

😊: Cosy Rouen exceeded my expectations! The hot tub was delightful - very cosy for two (particularly if you are on the heavier side) - but the perfect way to relax after a day sightseeing! Parking was a huge bonus! We have a large Audi & therefore had to think about how we could park considerately in the small space, but it’s doable! The location of this place is perfect! A short 10 minute walk downhill to the main sights - art museum, clock & cathedral. Entrance to the property is enchanting - through what looks like a understairs cupboard- leads you down into the basement apartment! The space is beautiful and has everything you need. The shower is excellent.. 😢: €300 damage deposit! Don’t miss this (like I did) in the description of this place!! The host refused to provide location/check-in details until this was paid. It also took more than 24 hours for the money to be refunded… I feel for the host as they obviously charge this for a reason (a bad experience perhaps?) but some people simply wouldn’t have that money or be able to do without it for a couple of days…so beware. My final point is a practical one. The host provided 2 small towels. With the hot tub, it would be helpful to have more towels..
