Côté Médicis - Cosy appartement au coeur de Blois

😊: Exceptionally well located in the heart of the beautiful Blois. A tip: take your time to explore the city and the castle. The main castles are in a 30min distance. The apartment itself is compact but very cozy and clean. Everything you might need is available. I'll definitely book it again when in the area.. 😢: A suggestion is to install curtains in the living area for a better night sleep..

😢: - No wardrobe, just a tiny hanger with boxes in the dark corner by the toilet door - very uncomfortable to use; nowhere to put shoes and suitcases, very limited space. - A sofa is technically impossible to sleep on, because it doesn't have normal leg support when unfolded (see photo). - The manager is a very arrogant and unwelcoming person, totally lacking soft skills. For ex, I spent a lot of time persuading her that it is a bad idea - communicating in French with foreign tourists. I come to another country with respect, using English as an international means of communication (not my native language, naturally), and I expect a basic respect in return. The manager's concept "No one complained before, use Google Translate or smth" is not really welcoming. At least automatic check-in messages can be doubled in two languages. (Btw, I spent half an hour translating the instruction to the washing machine, although for some other devices in the apartment the English translation was provided). - Bear in mind that the radiators are set on a certain temperature and are not adjustable. We were unlucky to arrive during cold and rainy spring spell, and it was a bit chilly in the apartment. When I asked the manager about it, the answer was quite familiar "No one complained before, take a blanket". I understand that there can be certain restrictions due to the "energy consumption standarts" etc, but all this can be explained politely and sympathetically at least, n'est-ce pas?.

Une beau séjour à Blois...<br>#128578; Très propre, bien décoré, bien situé, silencieux.<br>#128577; Pas de climatisation/ventilateur, les escaliers rudes, la porte d'entrée difficile à ouvrir.
