Côté Rivière

😊: A beautifully finished studio in gorgeous surroundings. Compact but everything required contained in the studio. Attention to detail was excellent and great hosts..

😊: Wow! We had high hopes of Côté Rivière but it even exceeded our expectations. Nathalie and Thierry were absolutely fabulous and friendly hosts, who made us feel so welcome and at home. We were completely relaxed from the moment we arrived. The setting of Côté Rivière by the river provided the perfect place to relax for a few days and we loved it. The studio was stylish, spacious and exceptionally well-equipped and laid out. To wake up each morning and open the blinds to a stunning view of the river was just perfect. There are many seating areas, including an amazing deck area right at the front of the studio, with sun shade. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs and Ézy-sur-Eure had several boulangeries within walking distance. There were also a couple of excellent supermarkets nearby. We enjoyed complimentary cider, biscuits and bread from Nathalie and the kitchenette had as much tea and coffee as we needed. In addition to chilling by the river, we were able to make use of the pool (with pool towels) and we enjoyed hiking in the immediate area - in nearby woods and along the river. It was the perfect spot for visiting Monet's House at Giverny - a MUST if you are staying here - and we also enjoyed visiting the Chateau de La Roche Guyon - which was well worth visiting. There are amazing views along the Seine. We stayed fairly nearby last year and also recommend visiting Maintenon and, of course, Versailles, which is easy to get to. Just how accommodating are Thierry and Nathalie? When we arrived and I asked if it was possible to run nearby, Thierry took me on a 9 km run (in 30+ C temperature) - I am not sure whether he would want me to mention this!! And we left behind some jewellery, which Nathalie informed us about and arranged quick postage back to the UK. Thierry and Nathalie are truly lovely people and we also enjoyed meeting Nathalie's mother. A wonderful experience!. 😢: Nothing - it was perfect!.

😊: Spacious studio in a great location. Tranquil riverside setting surrounded by nature. Five star accommodation with all the comforts needed for a short stay - aircon and plunge pool were a bonus on hot days. Super thoughtful and generous hosts..
