Mathias est très accueillant, sa maison est agréable et la région magnifique.

Le gîte "Les Vergers" est spacieux et très bien équipé, avec une terrasse et un jardin privatifs très agréables. L'emplacement est idéal entre Niort et La Rochelle. Les propriétaires, sont attentionnés mais discrets. La piscine, partagée avec 3 autres gîtes mériterait un peu plus d'attention (nettoyage quotidien des feuilles et insectes) mais nous a été précieuse par ces fortes chaleurs. Attention, escalier sans contremarches assez raide dans ce gîte. En résumé, nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

L'annonce ne précise pas suffisamment que la piscine est celle du propriétaire et qu'elle est partagée avec plusieurs gites. Le gite en lui-même est beau et agréable hormis les finitions qui sont à revoir. La literie est impeccable. La voie rapide est tout proche, ce qui facilite l'accès à de très belles balades mais génère un peu de bruit. Le barbecue mis à disposition mérite d'être changé.

The Gite was lovely. There were eight of us staying, family group of adults and teenagers. The four double rooms, two bathrooms and living space was plenty. The property was clean and well equiped for self catering. Lovely private terrace at the bacl of the property with a BBQ and table and chairs. The pool was perfect, it is shared with the other gites but that was never a problem and we were able to splash around and cool down when we wanted. There are six bikes which we used to explore neighbouring villages, the roads are all flat and quiet and easy to travel on. The area is a quiet rural part of France, La Laigne is a half hour drive to La Rochelle, and the beaches. The village itself does not have a lot of facilities but it is only a ten minute drive to a supermarket. If you like water parks i would recommend La Gliss which is an hour drive away. Thank you Mathias, we had a lovely week stay.

This beautiful cottage is spacious and ideal for 4-8 people. Everything in the house is finished to a high standard and the large kitchen and 2 large bathrooms are ideal for families or bigger groups. Mathias and his family were perfect hosts - on hand when needed but never intrusive. We really enjoyed the garden, the swimming pool and the use of the bikes. This is a perfect place to 'get away from it all' and to relax in style and comfort - we loved it! Thank you.
