😊: host met us in person & showed us around. 😢: no particular downside, apart from the quite narrow beds....

😊: Great location, good AC, nice property. 😢: The beds are too short (max 1.9m), making it impossible to sleep on if you are taller. The ad specifically stated that this appartment had beds longer than 2m. While the appartment itself is excellent, I’d avise you don’t book it if you are looking for normal-sized beds..

😊: The host was always available. She was friendly, helpful and informative It was in the centre of the village and near a bakery and cafe. In October the village was very quiet. The village was on a champagne tourist route with lots of day trippers but by the evening it was calm and quiet. Plenty of opportunities to taste champagne within the village- no need to drive! The flat gave us a lot of freedom.. 😢: Parking was on the street or in a nearby free car park but safe. There were no restaurants in the village for evening meals but the host has recemmondations for restaurants nearby..
